Danh sách key Windows mặc định từ Microsoft

Key mặc định cho Windows 10 (default key hay generic key) của Microsoft sẽ cho phép người dùng cài một bản Windows 10 bất kì nhưng sẽ chưa kích hoạt Windows.

Sử dụng key mặc định sẽ rất hữu ích nếu bạn muốn cài một bản Windows 10 nhất định nào đó hoặc kiểm tra hoạt động trên PC hoặc máy ảo, hay đơn giản là hiện tại bạn chưa có key sản phẩm và sau này sẽ kích hoạt Windows sau.

Generic product key của Windows có hợp pháp không?

Có, không có gì sai khi sử dụng generic product key để cài đặt Windows trên máy tính. Tuy nhiên, làm như vậy đi kèm với một số hạn chế đáng kể.

Đáng chú ý nhất, một generic key không cung cấp quyền sử dụng. Thay vào đó, chúng chỉ được thiết kế để giúp bạn cài đặt Windows. Trong vòng 30 đến 90 ngày (tùy thuộc vào key), generic key sẽ hết hạn và bạn sẽ cần thêm retail key (key bán lẻ) đầy đủ.

Về lý thuyết, Microsoft sẽ không bao giờ cho phép bạn kích hoạt Windows bằng một generic product key. Nếu bạn thử kích hoạt Windows bằng generic product key, bạn sẽ thấy thông báo sau trên màn hình:

Tại sao lại sử dụng generic product key trên Windows 10?

Cách nâng cấp generic product key

Khi bạn đã sẵn sàng, hãy mở ứng dụng Settings và đi tới Update and security > Activation > Upgrade your edition of Windows > Change product key.

Một hộp mới sẽ xuất hiện trên màn hình và bạn sẽ được nhắc nhập key bán lẻ mà bạn vừa mua. Nếu key của bạn hợp pháp, quá trình kích hoạt sẽ bắt đầu. Quá trình này có thể mất từ ​​vài giây đến vài giờ, tùy thuộc vào mức độ bận rộn của các máy chủ Microsoft.
